제목 Virtual Reality(VR) simulation system of prism adaptation training for hemispatial neglect

We developed Virtual Reality(VR) simulation system of prism adaptation training for rehabilitation of hemispatial neglect which we confirmed the clinical effect of the proto type in previous study. But the hand location in the virtual space showed frequent errors in the photo type, when the spatial axis between Leap motion® and Samsung HMD odyssey did not fit together. Also, the reality of the 3D VR environment was not enough. To improve these limitation, we changed the device from Samsung HMD odyssey to oculus quest. Oculus quest is a portable HMD system, which provides hand location tracking with a hand held device. The errors of hand location were improved markedly with Oculus quest system. We use hand held device of oculus quest in place of leap motion® sensor to track the location of hand which markedly improve the error of location of hand. Furthermore, we developed new VR software with a more realistic environment, which showed improved coordination between the real hand and the VR device. New system showed more consistent pointing errors both in ‘the prism on effect’ and ‘prism off after effect’. Also, it provided more realistic user experience.
